Mary McGervey Conner

This site started as a blog about my experiences starting a creative business (I used to have an Etsy shop where I sold handmade scarves.) It has since evolved into a place to share my fine art (although I still dabble in textiles, so you never know what I'll share here.) I love to take classes, both online and in person. I am always learning new tips and techniques for whatever creative outlet I'm exploring.
I've recently converted this sight from offering online purchases, to an online gallery. If you are interested in purchasing any original art pieces please contact me at maryconner23@gmail.com. Prints and assorted products featuring my artwork (tote bags, pillows, etc.) can be through Fine Art America.
I'm also a mom to two fun, active, creative, not-so-young kids and a wife to a guy who makes me laugh daily. I swim competitively for Walnut Creek Masters swim team (old people in Speedos - yay!) In past lives, before joining the ranks of full-time, stay-at-home-mom, I was a graphic designer and prior to that I was an art student and competitive swimmer at UC Santa Barbara (Go Gauchos!)
I hope you enjoy exploring this site. Surely it will continue to change, so come back often!
